La nieve que rodea el cráter

LA NIEVE QUE RODEA EL CRATER is based on established dialogue between the writer and poet Rafael Argullol,
the film director Pela del Álamo and the photographer and producer Tasio to make an audiovisual piece based on the poem "12-12-2014" by the writer.

"A journey from the deserts of Almería to the Mediterranean island of Sicily.
A trip that will connect two geological milestones to the last south of the Eurasian tectonic plate: the Pulpí geode and the Etna volcano.
Two places where tectonic friction has given rise to natural phenomena of unmatched beauty and violence. From solid to liquid.

A journey from the old, from the static, to what is transformed, to what evolves. The desert represents one thing; the volcano is the other."

During their week-long stay at Casa de Lava (April 2021), the two artists explored everything from sound capture and video editing to script work in the exploratory phase. Andrés Duque and Zoraida Roselló mentored them.
