Laura Moreno Bueno

Laura Moreno Bueno works with image, body, and sound, exploring nonverbal forms of communication and the relationship between analog and digital media. She studied in Madrid and at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, where she developed pieces such as While the Vines Weep, NÍOBE, and the installation III.In The Sound of Images (2021), she investigated the conversion of light into sound using photosensitive microphones, a project that culminated in a performance at BAICC (Toronto). Her recent works, such as Event 0, Cossos Oscil·lants, and Ulía, delve into the interaction between body, space, and landscape.
Her work has been presented at festivals such as Ann Arbor, FICUNAM, Oberhausen, and venues such as La Casa Encendida and the Joan Brossa Art Center.
