Olatz Ovejero

Olatz Ove will talk to us about the film creation processes through making of a collective herbarium of the Mas Maurici, made jointly with all 
the participants of this edition. This is how it dialogues with the creative process with preservation, touch, observation and search in the 
environment.Through "Iruñea, mon amour", a film that has in the process of creation and which deals with the transcendental figure of 
María Luisa Elío, Olatz and her mother embark on a joint adventure to rescue the memory of Elío. A mysterious mission between two families, 
two houses and two balconies. A work between memory, autofiction and portrait.


BIO

Olatz Ove graduated in Audiovisual Communication (UNAV, 2019) and has a master's degree in Theory and Practice of Creative Documentary (UAB, 2020) 
and in Humanities: Art, literature and contemporary culture (UOC, 2021). His first short film “In exchange for your life” (2020), 
premiered at ZINEBI, was awarded at Doclisboa, Alcances and Festival de Huesca. Likewise, it was selected by the ICAA for its space  2cool4school, 
inserted within the Short Film Corner of the festival Cannes. He has participated in development laboratories such as Intersección (Coruña, 2022), 
L'Alternativa (Barcelona, ​​2023), Zukugailua (France, 2023) and Women's Sample (Guatemala, 2023). Currently, she is developing the feature film 
“Iruñea, mon amour”, which addresses to the family, and will soon release her next short film,“Amamama.”
